Sad SID

The Commodore C64 Sound Interface Device (SID) chip is an amazing bit of mixed analogue and digital circuitry. Unfortunately, they are prone to ageing badly and either the output sound volume diminishes over time or they just stop working. Frenetic designed the SidKick Pico - a pin-compatible module using a Raspberry Pi Pico - and here is one the I built and fitted in one of my computers.
