Hello There!
Hi, I’m Nigel Kendrick, also known online as Linker3000.
I’m an IT professional with over 30 years of experience spanning digital transformation, IT service management, and technical operations. I’ve worked across local government, education, and global corporates, leading teams and delivering practical, reliable technology solutions.
My background ranges from hands-on systems and network engineering through to service leadership and transformation. I’ve managed multi-million-pound contracts and supported critical organisations, including the Maritime and Coastguard Agency, a UK Blue Light service, improving service delivery, resilience, and cyber security.
I’m comfortable working across Windows, Linux, and Cloud platforms, and enjoy finding smarter ways to automate and connect systems using DevOps tools and APIs. I’m also a mentor and trainer, a co-author of CompTIA A+ certification materials, and a STEM Ambassador, helping others build skills and confidence in tech.
When I’m not working, you’ll usually find me tinkering with electronics, IoT projects, or vintage computers, or just enjoying some time cooking or writing.

Hobbies
My main hobby is electronic engineering, where you'll find me at the right end of a soldering iron or doing some coding and documentation for a STEM project; I am very proud to be a STEM Ambassador, which is voluntary education role. There's more about my STEM work on a separate page.
You'll find write-ups for some of my electronic projects on my GitHub pages.
