Hello, my name is Nigel Kendrick, also known online as Linker3000.

I am an IT person with over 30 years experience in areas such as: digital transformation, data centre operations, service desk leadership (ITSM / ITIL), incident, problem, major incident and change management, IT project management & DevOps, InfoSec, mentoring and training in both technical and soft skills subjects.

I have designed and supported Cloud and on-premise platforms (Windows and Linux) and have have experience as a hands-on systems and networking engineer in data centre ops, networking, cloud infrastructure and virtualisation. I have worked for small businesses, local government and global corporates and hold SC clearance.

Hobbies

My main hobby is electronic engineering, where you'll find me at the right end of a soldering iron or doing some coding and documentation for a STEM project; I am very proud to be a STEM Ambassador, which is voluntary education role. There's more about my STEM work on a separate page.
